Author's real name: Glen Stollberger
Author's favorite color: Green (most shades)
Author's whereabouts: unknown
Author enjoys: Walking in New York City, getting lost finding himself (and usually enjoying his own witty remarks a bit too much)
Author also enjoys: All forms of comments on his parodies. The supportive ones give the author a massive ego boost. The negative or mean-spirited ones have the same effect, as the author feels honored to have inspired such emotion in the person who commented. Also the author enjoys feeling superior to people who leave mean-spirited comments.
Author's recommended parodies as of 3/2005: 'I Wok Alone', 'The Reasons Why Women Need Men', 'Elmer's New Gwoove', and 'Another Hobbit's Tale' part 2 and part 4. Feel free to check out whatever you want, but the previous 5 works have garnered the best audience responses during the author's time at amiright.
Author's current goals: Get parodies officially copyrighted and published (work in progress), get a job in film or TV in NYC or California (work in progress), do at least 30 sit-ups and at least 14 push-ups every morning excluding Sundays for over a year (one week completed and going strong).
Authors final notes: "...and then you'll end up eating a steady diet of government cheese, and living in a van down by the river..." - Chris Farley.
"A genius can see simplicity in complex things. An artist can see complexity in simple things. And both have open eyes and open minds." There is a lot of quality work here. Go to the the 'song parodies' section of the messageboards and check out the most recent parody contests if you feel that browsing the site is a bit daunting. Many great authors pick their choice works for the competitions and links to those works are provided in the voting threads for the respective competitions. And remember we authors like to hear from everyone, not just other parody authors. And enjoy your stay at amiright.
