The Lyrics

Metroids rule. There's no two ways about it.
From a group that we all know as Nintendo
Came a girl with a blaster for a hand
If you finished under time
From super metroid on to prime
You could see if her skin was tanned

Well she started with one tank in northern Brinstar
Used a pod shaped thing to rest, she had no fear
She did not say good-byes
Though the bosses dwarfed her size
And a code red meant Samus was here

She was always at the ready, cruisin' cosmos on her own
And she soon put ugly mother-brain to shame
She's a bounty-hunting sweetheart, with an armor made of chrome
Got some 2D and some 3D claims to fame

Well she fought through drones and pirates straight down to Norfair
Used a claw for grappling to swing around
She's an ice-beam toting bell
And she'll freeze you back to hell
(this was) if her enemy made a sound

Well in the depth she always met with Ridley
And the map told everyone where Ridley hid
And to see that purple chin
Would make any person grin
To watch the battle of Sammy and Rid

She was always at the ready, cruisin' cosmos on her own
And she soon put ugly mother brain to shame
She's a bounty-hunting sweetheart, on the game-boy and at home
She's a girl the universe could never tame

From a world that the gamers know as Zebes
Came a girl with a blaster for a hand
If you finished under time
From super metroid on to prime
You could see if her skin was tanned
I'd like to thank Syncronos for the idea to mesh games and Billy Joel. And I'd like to thank both Nintendo and Billy Joel for creating lasting things in this world.

Take a gander at the ad's on the side before you leave.

This is cool! You know, I think you me and Rice Cube are the only regulars on here who'd understand this...

I know what you mean. If I made it to the top ten by some weird coincidence, then maybe some non-regulars would see it, but I doubt that's gonna happen any time soon. Thanks for the look'n'rate man.

That's strange, I could have sworn I left a note yesterday. Well, I finally got ahold of the song, and listened. Absolutely phenomenal job. Only complaint I have is that Samus is a "belle," not a rung musical instrument. 5/5/5, and I'd give it higher if I could.

Very good point. Thanks neminem, I appreciate it.

I really liked Metroid but I never had the patience to play it for hours to beat it... :-/ Great parody though :-D

Thanks, Rice. :c) If you ever have the patience, I'd highly recommend playing through one of the 2-D ones.

I like metroid (even though Prime made me a bit sick)
