The Lyrics

After a long delay, my first entry into Matthias' Disney/Star Wars parody tribute. Hope everyone enjoys.
It’s a TRAP
Move tray tables from your lap!
You can give the Force a try, jedi
But fail and you get zapped
Bank and weave – BARREL-ROLL
‘Fore that space worm eats you whole
You had better just let me talk
Or you’ll end up TRAPPED with EWOKS

They throw rocks – they play horns
‘Bout as fierce as candied corns
With a sabre that lord Vader’s rather apt
You think they haven’t found you
Watch as they surround you
It’s a TRAP
Wait, oh SNAP
It’s a TRAP

Turn around, you buffoons
Now I told you that’s no moon
You’re oh so cozy there on Hoth
Like frozen moths, they’ll swat you soon
You feel safe, not perturbed
Call me paranoid, disturbed
But you’d better listen to me
Or go find another movie

C 3 ships, R 2 close
Tell your butt it’s adios
This whole universe is danger and mishap
Watch as your Falcon wrecks
Since It’s a TRAP
To recap
Han Shot First at other chaps
It’s a TRAP! Zap Zap ZAP! IT’S A TRAP!

Life is so unnerving
And the Force is just disturbing
You’re alone, and talk-y drones just won’t shut down
Ah, the good old days had better clothing
Jedi here are trapped in robes poo-brown
So SAAAD that he kissed her
It’s a TRAP, Luke, she’s your SISTER
And you made out with her TWICE, there’s something wrong
Recall all those days you found your spaceship…
No surprise your kinda JADED

Fight your dad! Save your friends!
I won’t spoil how it ends
Won’t surmise on your demise
What is a mini-chlorine-lens
I assume, you’ll go boom
‘Fore I see a wookie groomed
It’s like boulders versus pebbles
Since you’ve sided with the Rebels

In a swamp – you will slam
Stuck with green Yoda and ham
You’ll be lost without a Hope or any map
And Obiwan won’t listen
He got trapped, went missin’
It’s a Trap
This is Crap

Listen to my lobster-rap
Understand? Or shall I with my lobster hand
Give you a slap?
Do not fly, do not drive
If you want to stay alive
There’s no chance, just go retire
Won’t defeat that damn Empire

You’ll get fried
See that gap? Two meters wide
Make your gunning run but soon you’ll take a nap
Regardless of religion
Make the right decision
It’s A Trap!
It’s A Trap!
It’s A Trap!

2nz - First, any flawless take on this original song is quite an achievement. It is not one of the amiright Big Seven for nothing. Here you have so many delightful references to the films that your parody becomes something else indeed! Your score? I'll give you "2,000 now and 15,000 when we reach Alderaan". I can even hear the title in the Admiral's peculiar know..."ala Ackbar" (the awful pun was way too easy!). ;D

Hey, Glenn, I've essayed two more LOTR parody songs during your leave of abscence -- "Gollumian Rhapsody" and "Mordor, Mordor" based on Sinatra's "New York, New York" I wonder if you've seen them

THanks for the kind words, Old Man. Much appreciated. I'm glad most of the references come through without stepping on the pacing. :c) And thanks for stopping by Lennie. You're right, I've been a slacker recently. If you don't mind, post links to those two on the project page in the messageboards. I'll add them and I'll find some time to stop by and check 'em out. :cD. THanks for keeping the LOTR flame burning bright in my absence.

Finally! I've been waiting for this one forever!!! It turned out as amazingly as I have hoped if not even better. Loved the Green Yoda and ham line as well as mini-chlorine-lens and so much more!!! This totally fantastic!!!

Well, this is one of the more amazing works I've seen, right up there with the best of the best. The farce was definitely with you on this one.

(SOTM) My brain can't repel a parody of this magnitude! Fantastic work, Glen, 555!

Taking a classic and putting it with Star Wars. Fantastic work here! Excellent job getting the SW terminology in with the lyrics

DKTOS. haha/j/k. fortunately, this doesnt require intimate knowledge of the movies either to get it. Liked the bettered rhyming over the original, some many clever ones like "close/adios".

(SOTM) The feel of the OS and the topic you chose was a very odd mix. I don't know how this would sound as a recording, it would be kind of confusing. But for reading it, it was good. Nice work!

I love that more people are getting into the Disney/Star Wars mash up series. Nice work with this one!
