OK, you gotta take the leap back to the 80's cartoon with me to fully enjoy this parody. And for the first line of the refrain, I know there is an extra syllable. See if you can image that one extra syllable right after the first beat, as if the two-syllable section 'Cowa' replaces the second syllable of the line, thus adding a syllable but not extending the line. I probably confused you more now. Just read the parody, why don't ya.

Was a huge fan of the cartoon when I was a kid. The pacing threw me off a bit, "So.... Cowabunga" would have been fine by itself without adding the "Yo" at the end, because that made it stretch too long. Anywho pretty great parody here 2nz.

(Ages2) The extra syllable in the chorus didn't bother me. I'm not too familiar the the '80s Turtles (I'm more into the 2003 cartoon, as I was alive when it aired), but I know enough to get into the parody. 555 for you!

AGES...I honestly never watched it in the 80s, but did see the movie that came out (last year??) with a friend's little boy. He loved it. Anyway...this was funny...and I thought the "Cowabunga Yo" worked just fine...for the record.

Pretty good stuff; a couple of laughs. I wish you had parodied some (more) of the spoken lines. 5-4-5. BTW, a decade or two ago I read an article in which the writer noticed that the four good guys are named after European artists, while the two bad guys--Be-Bop and Rock Steady--are named after Afro-American music styles. I'll have a little racism with my turtle soup, please!

I got the pacing, I thought it was overall very well done. Very faithful to the show/movie itself, and liked how you managed to include all characters. Original Song is one of those I heard a million times back in the 90s but never since, so thinks for letting me revisit this OS, I think it could have used a bit more punch, but overall I really enjoyed it.

I liked it 2nz. I remember the "artist" names of the 4 main turtles. The rest of it references kind went by me as I didn't follow the show.
The pacing was fine for me. Good job !

ages--Fear The Turtle! Cowabunga Yo worked for me...I did watch it last week...I mean in the 80s. Got a lot out of it.
