Why They're dirty: This song was banned on many radio stations due to the "She's so sweet you could eat her". The group changed the lyrics when they played it on American Bandstand to "There ain't nobody sweeter", and on subsequent releases of the 45, but the damage had already been done. Notably, they left in the lyrics "I dream about those cherry lips that have never been tasted", which (depending on your point of view) is even dirtier than the original offending lyrics. This was their final charting single, from 1975.
