The first time I heard them - which was in my parent's car, with my two older brothers and me in the back seat, and my mom, dad, and little sister in the front. Dad has the radio on the local podunk (pop 5000, farm-friendly) radio station, and they play the top 100, whether Perry Como, Ferlin Husky, or Jimi Hendrix.
