"Ballet for a Girl in Buchanon," Chicago
"The Battle of Epping Forest," Genesis
The fifth track off of 1973's "Selling England By The Pound"
"Beauty Of The Beast," Nightwish
the best nightwish epic ever!
"Bela Lugosi's Dead," Bauhaus
Third track off of 1975's "Tale Spinnin'"
The song is from the album Scenes From a Memory, and this song seems to be about a man who would rather himself die than lose the love of his life.
The first track off of 1977's "Heavy Weather". The theme song for UNCW's Birdland Jazz Fest.
"The Bitch Sucks Dick," Too Short
"Bitter Sweet Symphony," The Verve
Despite its being just shy of six minutes long—a very long time for mainstream radio in 1998—it managed to hit #12 on the Billboard charts, and eventually became a very well-known song due to its use in a Nike commercial and the movie "Cruel Intentions."
Lead singer's voice sounds like Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen as the Secretary of State.
"Black Magic Woman," Santana
The ending of this Fleetwood Mac song contains "Gypsy Queen" as well.
The first track off of 1976's title album of the same name.
The version featured in the video was cut down to less than five minutes. I prefer the full-length version.
"Black Rose Immortal," Opeth
Longest song on an album where every track exceeds 10 minutes.
Although this was another edited tune (one reworked by Manfred Mann's Band that was written by Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen) for original single airplay at top 40 stations back in 1976 - 77 (to 3:45), the 7:07 album ("The Roaring Silence") cut was played a great deal on many radio stations (including AM top 40 stations, but especially many of the by then more prominent FM stations) and continues to be the more prominent version played by most radio stations. (The edit for the single by Mann is painfully way to obvious by most listeners).
This is the longest song to make it to the charts, two seconds off the 40:00 album mark.
The Buffalo Springfield/Stephen Stills homage to Stills' then girlfriend Judy Collins rocked out by Joe Walsh and company.
"Bohemian Rhapsody," Queen
A true rhapsody, consisting of classical, a cappella, hard rock and unisono parts.
Our first style in music is the "jazzy" waltz!
"Born To Touch Your Feelings," Scorpions
From 1977 album "Taken By Force." Remixed version on 1992 compilation album "Still Loving You" is shorter, at 7:21.
The studio version. Hawkwind usually plays "only" 8 minute version on gigs.
This is the actual length of the full version of the song, although the album contains a considerably shorter edit that is only 3:57 in length. Kelly says she plans to release a re-issue of the album that will contain the full-length version. Seriously, folks.
"Brighton Rock (live)," Queen
"Brighton Rock (live)," Queen
This is the second longest running song, 5:16, on Songs From The Big Chair next to Shout Bonus Mix.
"Burial at Sea," Saint Vitus Lenght:8:38
A long dark metal song. Has a "fast" part in the middle.
"Burning Rope," Genesis
Off of 1978's "...And Then There Were Three..."
