Band Name Origins:

  • The term was taken from a passage in one of my all time favorite books..."The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. If you ever read it, you'll find out that the collective soul is a very, very bad thing, however, so I'm not so sure why they wanted that as a band name. Submitted by: StrangeAsAngels
  • the awesome band got their name from a poem (forgot who did it) which said that ,"the soul will be collective," and they thought that their band was so good so they would be 'collecting souls' Submitted by: just a random lyricist

Inappropriate Song Lyrics:

"Better Now"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
Oh, I'm happy as Christmas
All wrapped to be seen
Why They're Inappropriate:
I could see where you could happy as a PERSON at Christmas, but not happy AS Christmas. Plus, that other "all wrapped to be seen" lyric just sounds, for lack of a better word, weird.
