Yes, there was a band called Stars on 54. They were a short-lived supergroup briefly active in the late 1990s. Their lone hit single was a cover of Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind". The name was inspired by the early-1980s Dutch-based group Stars on 45. Why not just add them together?
