- When the band first started, someone asked them their name. They didn't have one, so one of the members replied 'we are in decision' (meaning we are still deciding). The person though that it was their name, so they came out as 'inDecision'. But that name was already taken, so they changed 'in' to 'soul' because they all liked soul music. Submitted by: Junky
