I heard this song on Smooth FM without knowingly hearing it before. The lyrics seemed to make out that the singer was an easy target for bullies, and Gentle Touch was a slang term for such a person. The DJ announced the title at the end of the song I realised I was wrong. The harmonies on the lead lines are a little hard to make out. I mentioned this to my Dad. He remembered thinking it would be funny if it was someone had misheard it as Gateau Child when it was first out.
