Band Name Origins:
- Originally, PÃ¥l had used the word 'a-ha' as the title of a song. He alternated between 'a-ha' and 'a-hem'. As Morten was taking one of his frequent peeks through PÃ¥l's notebook, he came across the name a-ha. "That's a great name. That's what we should call ourselves." After a few weeks of getting the feel of the name and checking dictionaries in several languages, it was decided. They found out that 'a-ha' was an international way of expressing recognition, with positive connotations. It was short, easy to say and unusual. - The band wanted a name which meant the same thing in every language. "A-ha!" is an exclamation uttered at the realisation of something, and its meaning is universal. Submitted by: Heathcliff the Cat

Song Parody Fragments:
"Cry Wolf"
Better Lyrics:
When Mai-Tai left this city
I dreamt of a wolf
He came from where the wings are cold
To this scene through keyholes
Strange lungs that will never sleep
A nice, cowey, neatherd beat
I dreamt of a wolf
He came from where the wings are cold
To this scene through keyholes
Strange lungs that will never sleep
A nice, cowey, neatherd beat

Night I left the city
I dreamt of a wolf
And truth is seen through keenholes
Strange longings that will never sleep

Strange longings that will never sleep
Now he's come where no heart beats
