This clearly seems like a line that wants to draw a contrast between the "she" and "i" in question. but since the two garments referred to are worn on different sections of one's body, no clear contrast comes out of the line, since one can wear both a short skirt and a t-shirt at the same time. in fact, I've done so myself. about the only way to pull a clear contrast out of the line is to assume that the singer means to imply that each garment referred to is all that is worn by the one said to wear it. but I doubt that that is the intention (if for no other reason than that I know too many parents who allow their kids to freely listen to taylor swift). still, it is pretty funny if one contemplates this only interpretation that will draw a clear contrast from the line!

Duh! She might as well say, "She drinks water, I eat food"! The line clearly seems to be an attempt at drawing a contrast. But she tells what the other girl wears below the waist and what she herself wears above her waist. No clear contrast there. One can easily wear both simultaneously (As I myself have done not a few times). So how are we to hear this as a contrast between the other girl and herself? The only way I can see is to suppose she means to be describing the TOTALITY of what the two wear. But I don't think that's the intention. Can you imagine Taylor Swift attending school wearing NOTHING BUT a T-shirt while some classmate wears NOTHING BUT a short skirt. If that's the image we're supposed to get from these lines too many people I know would be forbidden by their parents to listen to Taylor Swift. And barring that interpretation, the line becomes about as nonsensical as saying, "But she breathes, I sweat" or "But her heart beats, my guts digest" or so on!

The girl that she's singing about is "easy" if you know what I mean.

Somebody is a singular pronoun.. the antecedent "THEY" should be singular too like He or She... and the 'em which means them should be him or her
