The Inappropriate Lyrics: We walk in circles
destined to collide which way is up? I really can't decide When I'm down You're like a parasite You take my breath and you fall out of sight. Why They're Inappropriate: I put this line in the Insincere Lyrics section, but I thought that this belongs here too since Mark seems to be saying the person who this song is about is leaching off of him. :(

The Lyrics: They say that life is an empty maze

| "It Doesn't Really Matter"
The Lyrics: They fight in England and Northern Ireland
the police they try to hold us still They can bleed us and they can feed us but you know they'll never control our will Why: The lyrics of this song refer to the "Troubles" which was the political and social upheaval in England and Northern Ireland which went on from 1968-1998.
Lead singer Mark Holmes says that he never intended to make a political statement when he wrote this song but still it's one of Platinum Blonde's most famous, and unintentional, hits. This song is upbeat yes but depressing as hell because of the song being about the "Troubles" in England and Northern Ireland from which Mark's family fled. Submitted by: Celeste
