Band Name Origins:
- Came to their (then) promoter, Jonathan King, in a dream as the name of a succesful band. Urban legend however has it that it arose out of macho ideas, i.e. 9 cubic centilitres (9cc) is the average fluid amount of the male ejaculation. So therefore they were more macho, hence 10cc. - Yes, I know ANOTHER 10CC story but this one is fact as I have heard it from the twisted lips of the perv King himself. Yes it is indeed semen ejaculation, but the reason the band have denied it so long is that (according to Creme -or was it Godley?), there are four men in the band and if the average man can spit out 10cc's.
