Names -> Cool Band Names -> K, Page 3

Whenever I hear a cool phrase somewhere, I like to exclaim "That would make a cool band name". This page is a list of such names.

I can not verify whether these names have been taken yet or not. If your band happens to already use one of these names sorry. If you want to use a name you see here, you'll need to verify it's not already in use.

Kryptonite On myspace.com now, everyone has their name followed by a random word starting with the same letter. One of my friends came up with Kryptonite following her K name. Kryptonite is what any surviving fragment of the exploded planet, Krypton, ((which would also be a cool name)) home of Superman. MauraLabingi
Krystal Kardashian A lesser known Kardashian sister Regina Haniger
KT Skipped  this name is kool because me and my girlfrend katie thought of it when would skip school just so we could talk to eachother and because she is the hottest chick in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  joe
Kublai Khan He was the fifth and last Khagan of the Mongol Empire and founded the Yuan Dynasty. Always thought it would make a cool band name. agel84433
Kudu Voodoo Kudu is a kind of antelope, and it rhymes with "Voodoo". H. Tim Smith
Kulier I was in the New Orleans ghetto and found the word "kalier" written in chalk on the streets. I couldn't get that name out of my head for some reason. When my friend's band needed a name, I suggested Kalier. But then since it was written somwhere they decided to change it to "Kulier" and it's was just cool. Jammy
KumKwat Kinda like Korn.... but more.... KumKwaty-ish SpLoObZ
The Kung Fu Afro Stars I'm think of a cross between the Harlem Globetrotters and Sunday Morning Chopstick Theater. Jace
Kung Fu Pie and the Kamikaze Applesauce Long story. One day back when my band was called Tuna Safe Dolphin, my bassist and I were talking about all the different types of pie, while at the same time continuing a conversation about martial arts. We like to multi-task like that. Anyways, he was naming off odd pies such as derby pie, shepard's pie, and etc and suddenly I said "Kung Fu Pie." he replied "That sound's like a band name." and now we are Kung Fu Pie. Whenever we have more members or jam with people, we become kung fu pie and the kamikaze applesauce. Nik of Cutarug Productions
Kung Fu S.W.A.T. Team I heard it off the movie National Security Blake
Kung-pow Supreme It's usually my order at the wok Austin Misonznick
The Kursed I was thinking of Korn, Kovenant and Kreator if you know those bands were they used a "K" instead of a "C" E93
Kursk The name of a Russian nuclear sub. It sank, in the early '90s I believe, because a bunch of the torpedoes in the front hold went off, killing most of the crew. The rest died from starvation, and Raditation poisoning. Julien
KUSEW its simple, sticks in your mind, it would suit a punk band with perhaps funny lyrics. just read it backwards to see what it means (at least they're not being big-headed! the artful typer
Kute Kitty Jam Because its something different! We came up with it is our letters of our names. kim
