"Epilepsy"
Lil Wayne says he has epilepsy and has had seizures for years. In an interview with radio station Power 106 the 30 year old rapper said epilepsy caused his most recent health scare this month when he was rushed to the hospital. Wayne siad he had three back--to-back seizures. Wayne says he "could've died" and that the recent sizures were a result of "just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself."

"Released from Hospital"
Lil Wayne is out of the hospital, according to his Young Money associate Mack Maine. Maine told his Twitter followers recently that the rapper had left Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA, where he had been hospitalized since last week from a seizure. Meanwhile, a source told US Weekly that Lil Wayne's health problems could stem from his use of a popular drink combining cough syrup with codeine and other ingredients: "He drank too much Sizzurp to get a better high. He needs rehab, but he's not close to death or anything. He's fine and just coming down off the high."

"Coma... or Not???"
Rapper and clothing designer Lil Wayne was hospitalized recently over a seizure, but it is unclear how he's doing. His camp has tweeted that he's fine, but TMZ reports that he is in a medically induced coma and that his mother was on a plane to LA to make decisions about his health. AP reports that Lil Wayne has a history of violent seizures. But Mack Maine, president of Wayne's Young Money imprint. has tweeted that the rapper is "alive and well" and bashed TMZ for its reports. An uncomfirmed tracking by a tech-smart user places the tweet as coming from Cedars-Sinai using lat/long info encrypted into a user's Twitter account. No response from Mack Maine. Another source close to Wayne reported that the rapper was "recovering."

"Offending Family of Emmet Till"
Epic Records is going to "great efforts" to take down a new Future remix leaked recently with a vulgar Lil Wayne lyric that has offended the family of Emmet Till. The rapper made a sexual reference to the beating death of Till, a 14 year old Chicago boy tortured and shot in Mississippi in 1955 for whistling at a white woman. Till's family objected and the Rev. Jesse Jackson reached out to his management, the Blueprint Group, on the family's behalf. The label issued a statement apologizing for the release of the song.
