Story about this misheard lyric by: Olga Ruiz For a long time, I thought the words were 'My Kim'. I wondered if Kim could be member of the group or a one-time love of a member. Later I just happened to be looking at the lyrics on a lyrics site and discovered there is no Kim in this song. |

Upbeat Songs With Depressing Lyrics:
"Mr. Blue"
The Lyrics: I'm Mr. Blue, when you say you're sorry. Then turn around headed for the lights of town, hurting me through and through. Call me Mr. Blue.
Why: This song may have a soft feel with its jazz guitar and trombone as well as the female singers, but it's about some guy losing his love while she has fun, he cries. Garth Brooks would make an upbeat version of this song...but the song is still blue.
