Hall & Oates', "Adult Education"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
Memories that you won't remember
Why They're Nonsensical:
A memory, by definition, is something you remember.

Hall And Oates', "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
I'll do anything that you want me to do,
And I'll do almost anything that you want me to do
Why They're Nonsensical:
Sounds like he's blatantly changing his mind. First he says he'll do anything that the person wants him to do...which entails that whatever he's asked to do, he'll do it, no matter what. But then the next line says he'll do *almost* anything that the person wants, which implies he'll do some things, but not others. You can't have it both ways, dude.

Hall And Oates', "Sara Smile"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
If you feel like leavin'
You know you can go
But why don't you stay until tomorrow?
Why They're Nonsensical:
How can you encourage Sara to leave now if she wants to, then persuade her to stay until tomorrow? Why don't you just give her the option of either leaving now or staying until tomorrow?
