"Stealin'"
Misheard Lyrics: Steven
or Fever Original Lyrics: Stealin'

Story about this misheard lyric by: Rock Princess I went to a concert with no prior knowledge of the band whatsoever. "Stealin'" was one of the anchor songs, and the crowd was supposed to sing the word 'Stealin'' in the chorus. At first I thought it's 'Steven' (like the Alice Cooper song), but then I thought 'Naaah, there can't be two songs that much alike'. So I tried listening, but standing in the last row didn't help much. So figured 'fever' sounded reasonable enough, so I sang it. I imagine how annoyed was the guy next to me who was mouthing all the lyrics during the concert. |
