Original Lyrics:

Story about this misheard lyric by: Rock Princess

I went to a concert with no prior knowledge of the band whatsoever. "Stealin'" was one of the anchor songs, and the crowd was supposed to sing the word 'Stealin'' in the chorus. At first I thought it's 'Steven' (like the Alice Cooper song), but then I thought 'Naaah, there can't be two songs that much alike'. So I tried listening, but standing in the last row didn't help much. So figured 'fever' sounded reasonable enough, so I sang it. I imagine how annoyed was the guy next to me who was mouthing all the lyrics during the concert.

Lighter Side of Serious Bands:

"Nickname Of Fans"
You know that major fans of the Grateful Dead used to follow the band from town to town, going to every Dead show they could? They are called "Deadheads" and they are proud of that apellation. Tragically Hip fans are "Hipheads", there are "Phishheads" (eat them up, yum!), Dick Dale devotees are dubbed "Dickheads" (lousy label : ( ) and Uriah Heep fans are denoted as "Heepheads".
