Story about this misheard lyric by: Jonathan T.

Yeah so I thought he was saying that for years until like 2 months ago. I was talking to a friend and she started singing it, so I joined her. I made the biggest @** outta myself, she hasn't talked to me since - Superficial friends.

Insincere Lyrics:

"Possum Kingdom"
The Insincere Lyrics:
Give it up to me
Give it up to me
Do you wanna be My angel?
So help me, Jesus!
Why They're Insincere:
How do religion and asking a girl to have sex with you behind the boat house mix? This guy definitely does not sound sincere talking about angels and Jesus one second and having some chick 'help him out' the next!

Bad Grammar in Song Lyrics:

"I Come From The Water"
The Lyrics:
I come from the water
That weren't no easy thing.
Why:
Even without the double negative (weren't no), this lyrics would still be wrong grammatically. The correct saying would have been "That (or preferbly 'it') wasn't an easy thing".
