Band Name Origins:

They were called Silmarillion, but decided to change their name. Since they had already printed Silmarillion on one of their guitar cases, they thought the easiest and cheapest route would be to just get rid of the 'Sil' part. Leaving them with Marillion. Submitted by: Tim
