Story about this misheard lyric by: Janet I was 8 years old when this song came out and I like to think that is why I misheard the lyrics. I'm not sure what it says about me though that I didn't actually catch the mistake until about 20 years later!!!! |

Funny Lyrics:
"Mr. Lonely"
The Funny Lyrics: Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely,
I have nobody for my own. I'm so lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely, Wish I had someone to call on the phone. Why They're Funny: He just sounds so drab and filled with self-pity when he sings these lyrics, it's hilariously funny. Of course, the song is actually about being at war, away from home, but I was drunk when I first heard the song. Needless to say, I took the lyrics out of context.

Foreign Language in English Songs:
"My Melody Of Love"
The Lyrics: Oh, oh, Moja droga ja cie kocham
Means that I love you so. Moja droga ja cie kocham, More than you'll ever know. Kocham ciebie calem serce. Love you with all my heart. Why: Bobby Vinton wrote a couple of lines in this song in Polish, the language of his ancestry. I'm told that "Moja droga ja cie kocham" means, "My dear, I love you" and that "Kocham ciebie calem serce" means "Love you with all my heart".
