Story about this misheard lyric by: Dustin Aurand I misheard this lyric when I was listening to Music Choice's Sounds of the Seasons around Halloween. It sounded like, "victor," and, "slave," because of the English accent, which sounds like they break the word, "bitter," into sylables, which is pronounced, "bit-ter," and, "sweet," sounds like, "slave." They pronounce, "sweet," by making the E sound like an A, (which sounds like, "slave," or, "swate." I then read the lyrics and found out the real pronunciation. |
