I sing and play in a corporate party band and this is one of my favorite songs. I enjoy doing as a cover tune with my band mates from the 1950's era. I was listening to this song one night and right when it got to that line. I fell out of my chair and nearly died laughing so hard. I thought Lloyd Price was singing about his bulldog breaking wind instead of barking at the two men gambling in the dark. I swear, I played it over and over and that's what it sounded like to me. I really hope our band leader doesn't sing this misheard lyric onstage because if he does, we're in big trouble. I think I must have ate too much refried beans while listening to that lyric.
