- The Band Kix Was Originally called the "SHOOZE" in 1978, Record Companies became interested in the band , The Changed the Name to "The Generators" to avoid phonetic confussion with the band "Shoes" fron Chicago- When the band signed on with ATLANTIC RECORDS, the Label changed thier name to "KIX".
