I know, but with Scotch Tape? Why They're Dumb: In the first place, 'vertebrae' is the plural, Secondly, the lumbar vertebrae are connected to the thoracic vertebrae (above) and to the sacrum (below); the clavicle is connected at its inside end to the sternum and at its outside end to the shoulder blade. And Mr. Sherman was right: they aren't connected with Scotch tape. :D
