During the autumn of 1982 the band .38 Special scored another hit on the Hot 100. "You Keep Running Away" peaked at #38 on the countdown. Coincidence or what?
Pot Charges - 2 Chainz
Rapper 2 Chainz has been arrested on drug charges in Maryland where he was performing at a college home coming event. Maryland State Police spokesman Sgt. Marc Black said troopers stopped a van recently near Easton, Md., and smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana in the van. A backpack in the van had a marijuana grinder and trace amounts of marijuan, police said. The rapper, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, claimed possession of the backpack and was arrested. Epps was cited for having drug paraphernalia and marijuana and was released.

I'm not sure where this really fits into but here goes. We all know about the controversy of their X-rated album "As Nasty AsThey Want To Be". We also know about lead rapper's trademark dispute with Lucasfilm Ltd. about his use of the name "Luke Skyywalker" (he now uses his real name Luther Campbell or simply "Luke"). An amusing factor was added in the equation when two parents complained that their child purchased the album thinking it was a music record by "Luke Skywalker" - as in the Jedi Knight, or Mark Hamill! They took it home, played it and OMG! I laughed my butt off when I read this story in the paper. Unbelievable!

Bruce Miller, who was driving the car, was also injured, but released. Taken to New York Hospital Queens, 50 Cent sustained minor neck and back injuries but is "doing fine" (now with a neck brace).
