Band Name Origins:
- Cerys and Mark, the main founders of the band, came across the word Catatonia, believing it to mean a sence of extreme pleasure and sleep, and so used in on gig posters as 'sweet catatonia'. But later they were told that it actually means sort of a coma vegetative state, but it was too late to change it on the posters. Eventually they dropped the 'sweet' and became plain old 'Catatonia' who sadly (sniff sniff) have split! Submitted by: MystikAura
