once caught a cold when the weather would blow,
mama used to say, wear a hat when you go
that's the last thing that I would
and I had a hotspell, then I had a problem to not feel good
drippies, cramps and heaves,
are the things now keepin me down, I got the
drippes, cramps and heaves,
and every night doctor ben would come around,
and I would tucky down
picked up a bug in an automobile
cramped in the middle, and I started to feel
I was sniffin, what's to come?
dulling of the senses
shoulda had a flu shot when the weather would come
drippies, cramps and heaves,
are the things now keepin me down, I got the
drippes, cramps and heaves,
and every night doctor ben would come around,
and I would tucky down
now it isn't foolin, and I feel like hell,
I need food for a while
three days later, I am past the trouble
I havent been good for a while uh huh
I havent felt good for a while
I learned my lesson on the way to my school,
soaked when all the rain came, looked like a fool,
mama knew when she had said
put a little pair of boots on,
get a mac to cover your precious head..
drippies, cramps and heaves,
are the things now keepin me down, I got the
drippes, cramps and heaves,
and every night doctor ben would come around,
and I would tucky down
mama used to say, wear a hat when you go

It's hard to compare this to "herpes crabs and fleas", which has rolled around in my head more than once since reading it-
On this website's Malcolm Higgins with the parodies, and little children laugh at him behind his back, and ol' Malcolm never wears a mac in the pouring rain, very strange!
