Georgia's favourite sons give us an anthropology lesson...this is my most ambitious work so far, so cut me a bit of slack!! :-)
That's great, it starts with a primate
Kind of ape, but not the same
Australopithecus by name
Came out of Africa, made no tools (we concur)
World changing quickly, apeman getting sickly
Didn't stand a chance, no fire, no heat
No chatter, what's the matter? Oh me oh my, new guy!
Oh no, he's a Homo, and he's cleverer by far
He's close to finding fire, it's a one-way fight..
"Aussie" was a-leaving in a hurry with Erectus breathing down his neck
Team by team they're hunting, using hands, stones and sticks
Look at that hot thing...fire, then!
Oh oh, gotta go, move to Asia, makin' tools we gotta do
Save yourself, feed yourself, ape serves it's own needs; I'll admit, a hard breed
Thank God there's no Raptors and no T-Rex..just the night (fright!)
So prehistoric, meteoric, upright, man-like...things are going right..

Better tools (Oldovan-ish)..not ape-ish, caveman-ish

Use a spear, hunt, hunt..uh-oh, this means no fear, kill deer
Buffalo steer clear...Neanderthal, Neanderthal, Neanderthal guys!
But with evolution, there is no alternative but to decline..
