Original Song Title:

"The Needle and the Damage Done"

Original Performer:

Neil Young

Parody Song Title:

"There’s Evil in the Devil’s Run"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

These people aren’t knocking on Heaven’s door;
their thoughts are dwelling way beneath the floor.
1-2-3, the devil’s run.

It isn’t pretty, and it’s far from grand;
this run is evil and it should be banned.
Gone, gone, the devil’s run.

Their stinking songs have got a hidden plan:
to con us into worshipping Satan.
Think, because time is running out.

I hear the evil in the devil’s run—
it isn’t pure as is, say, Dorian.
It is a junk key pays the devil’s dun.

Almost unattainably obscure, (at least to previous commenters) I'm figuring this is your third song relating to TC's tritone ban. Brilliant, but enough already. Google gave me some useful hits for Devil's Chord, but not for Devil's Run.
