"Scarf Burro Fare/Vegetal"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

You are going to scarf burro fare:
Barley, maize, oats, hay, wheat, and rye.
Remember: meat ain't for which they care.
You'll just love this food for equines.

You will be made to eat with a quirt
(If you don't dig into those greens)
Barley, maize, oats, hay, wheat, and rye.
(Farmers harrowed it for you to fress down)
Your snout in greens, your teeth'll work
(After you've dined, you can drink from the fountain)
First you chew that food for equines
(Eat uncooked fare where no carrion crawl)

Swell is dining from an acre of land
(If you' re not yet full, have a sprinkling of leaves)
Barley, maize, oats, hay, wheat, and rye.
(Watch out for maize that has slivery ears)
Use salt licks; it's hot, and from your sweat glands
(Water will stream out and down your face run)
You might lose your electrolytes

Who wants to eat in this sticky wretched weather?
(Even a splash of claret with green scallions)
Barley, maize, oats, hay, wheat, and rye.
(Getting so logy, you can't have your fill)
Yet you manage dessert: a bunch of heather
(That is quite fermented, and you're horribly besotted)
You get stewed on food for equines

You are going to scarf burro fare:
Barley, maize, oats, hay, wheat, and rye.
Remember: meat ain't for which they care.
You'll just love this food for equines.

Congrats John for 100 parodies and breaking 1000 as well. If I understood correctly, you started submitting Tuesday at noon and stopped Friday at noon? So that is what, roughly 35 minutes per parody? (assuming you had to sleep, eat, etc. for a few hours a day). And not all easy OSs either, this being one of the harder ones. 5s, I'll look through some of the others tomorrow. Do you remember how long this one took by chance?

Congratulations on the 100 parodies! (Quite abashed here - you accomplshed in one week almost 2/3 of what it took me 3 years to accomplish).

This is a favorite OS of mine and you really did it justice! 5's

Thanks, Mr. Ed, Red Ant, Rick, Adagio. Red Ant: early Wed morning I realized that I'd never make at the pace I was working. . .songs too long and complicated. So I switched gears and, e.g., did 3 takes on "Ina Gadda da Vida" in a few minutes. From that point on, I started think of short tunes like "Shine on Harvest Moon." I REALLY rushed some of 'em. I'd guess that this one took about half an hour, but I was able to use some of the original lines, which went perfectly with the subject matter.

I spent 2 years writing 51 of my parodies and you wrote over 100 parodies in less than a week. You wrote twice as much parodies at this short amount of this time as I did. Anyways, DKTOS, but I will believe these viewers and give you all fives. :)

Very good, JB - a very high quality/speed ratio: all the ones I've looked at so far it's been damn near impossible to tell that they were that rushed. This one's especially good.
