I'm heading for that boulder,
Poling with my arms--take me

Pass this rock, not split in two.

I could sit on my hind-rear,
Hope to miss the brunt, maybe
Piss my pants from fright, stay pee
By grabbing my crotch with my ski glove

Steep hills have been my bane,
I've sprained all from chin to shin.
My legs are splayed, my edges disarrayed,
I fear jewels will be crushed in.

I sledded past that boulder,
Poled hard with my arms. . .saved me.
Kissed the piste goodbye. . .snow-free
I'll instead be a bowler.
