Names -> Cool Band Names -> T, Page 5
Whenever I hear a cool phrase somewhere, I like to exclaim "That would make a cool band name". This page is a list of such names.
I can not verify whether these names have been taken yet or not. If your band happens to already use one of these names sorry. If you want to use a name you see here, you'll need to verify it's not already in use.

| Twistleflex | I remeber in the 70's when stretchy metal watchbands came out a company (I want to say Timex) came up with this wierd term to promote their new type of band. I'm not positive it was Tistleflex but I like I said it was the 70's and that's what I remember it as being called. | Pat | ||
| Twizzle | There was a foreign student in one of my classes last year, and my teacher was giving out Twizzlers for people who answered her questions right. The foreign student answered something right, but the teacher forgot to give her a reward, so she said "I want a twizzle". Yeah, I dunno, it sounded really cool so it just kind of stuck in my head. | Chelsie | ||
| Two Bags of Hefty | Inscrutable, but with commercial appeal. Product tie-ins unlimited. | Jim | ||
| The Two Bit Band | Thats what you feel like the day after the show: 2 bits (25 cents) | Barry | ||
| Two Broken Picks And A Stick Through The Head | Well, it sounds like the name of a psycho band. Got the inspiration from my own band's rehearsal. God, our equipment sucks. | No Hero | ||
| Two Day Nation | In my ninth grade history class, our final project was to do a report on China, Japan, or some country in southeast Asia. Two days before the project was due, a new country called East Timor was officially declared a country. I did a report on it. | Cessi | ||
| Two Dollar Buckets | Across the bridge from where I live in El Paso, Texas, there's Ciudad Juarez, home of two dollar buckets of beer. | Chuck Fensch | ||
| Two Dollar Horse | A few years ago there was a saying that sounded like this. It of course refers to a not so wonderful profession. This name does not however it is just a cool band name and a play on words at the same time. | Dippy D | ||
| Two Dollar Pistol | The old saying is "hotter than a two dollar pistol", suggesting stolen goods, but a hot band name just the same | Eddddd | ||
| Two Dollar Ransom | It was the name of a band that was, once apon a time, apunk band. I just always thought the name was cool. The symbol was "2$R". | Dremaura | ||
| Two Dollar Whore | It's a old joke. A really cheep John needs some. Or Maybe "Two Finger Hand Job" would be a great one also. | Derick J, Hend | ||
| Two Fifths Canadian | OK, so there are only four people in our band. But 2/5s sounds better than 1/2. Two of us are Canadian, two aren't. You do the math. | Greg G. | ||
| Two Hour Shower | A great name for a really good punk band. It has a double standard meaning to it too. For the clean minded, it could represent that long lasting bliss one gets from taking a hot shower. You're cleaning up your act. Or the perverts can take it as one taking the extra needed time to j*** off in the shower. | Igotyagood | ||
| Two Inch Torpedo | Sounds kinda like Nine Inch Nails; a friend used this once to refer to a certain part of his anatomy, and it just stuck in my head! | Carla Bisagni | ||
| Two Minute Hate | From George Orwell's 1984 | Dave | ||
| Two Pump Chump | This girl I know hates guys like this, and as you know if one girl doesn't like you the rest want to find out for themselves | Jonny | ||
| Two Second Orgasm | A few of my friends at school and I were at lunch. My friend Blake hiccuped(is that right, o well). It sounded like an orgasm that an old person would make. It was beautiful. | Will Owens AKA 'Sk8' | ||
| Two Seconds Away | My friend Rob and I were driving back from the mall when this idiot in a truck pulled out in front of us and forced to hit our brakes. I then lost it and started screaming "that f***er took two seconds away from us!!" Rob responded with, "dude, that's a cool band name ... Two Seconds Away!" And so the legend that never will be began. | Roger | ||
| Two Sides | Taken by my band. Really, when one of you is villainous and the other is a hero, and you become friends...what else are you going to call it? | Douglas Bucksworth aka D.B. | ||
| Two Steves On A Honda | at a party, two of our friends(both named steve, obviously)took off for the store on a friend's motorcycle. it just sounded obscure and kinda quirky! | jboxgirl | ||
| TwoPlusTwo | This would make a great name for a rock band. I came up with this name in my math class. I was pressing random numbers on my calculator and I ended up with 2+2. | Paul | ||
| TwoStepMary | Yeah, it's really TwoStepMary. I was in the line for our flag ceremony. Then my teacher asked me to move two steps from Mary (which is my bandmate). There you have it. | facemelter | ||
| Typhoid Mary | I thought the nickname of the famous typhoid fever carrier would make a great band name. It's also a play on the Jethro Tull song title "Crosseyed Mary." | Renard | ||
| Typhoon Avalance | CAME UP WITH IT BY MY HOCKEY STICK BEING CALLED A TYPHOON (NAME ON STICK) AND MY FAV TEAM IS COLORADO AVALANCHE | JAKE HOSLEY | ||
| The Typical Strip | I was sitting in a Calculus lecture one day, and this phrase is used in deriving the Theorem of Integration. When situated alongside a graph on squared paper with some nice Maths symbols, the whole page would make an excellent cover for the first album. | John |
