"Tears On My Pillow"
Misheard Lyrics: I'd gladly take you back
And temptahesivate. Original Lyrics: I'd gladly take you back
And tempt the hands of fate. |
Story about this misheard lyric by: Frann When I was 9, I was in the play 'Grease' for my summer day camp, and my role was a member of the band that performed in the school dance scene. We had to learn the words to this song, among others. I remember bragging to my mom about how I learned a big word like 'temptahesivate' all by myself, and I asked her what it meant. She laughingly corrected me. And I had thought that I was so smart! |
"Shimmy, Shimmy, Ko-Ko-Bop"
The Made Up Words: ko-ko-bop
Comments: This song was a hit in 1960.
