The Lyrics
A note of explanation and forewarning: In late November 2005, I wrote 50 parodies of the OS. Over time, I did more and more. At some point, I decided to go for 300 parodies of the OS and submit my “accomplishment” to the Guinness Book, because as far as I can tell, there is as yet no category for the most parodies of a single song. I plan to use the amiright site to validate my claim. It’s a long shot, but what the hell? Anyway, I currently sit at 270 posted to the site. I want to get this over with, so I plan to post the remaining 30 in batches over the next several days.
An aquarelle* I hue;
It looks so fine.
It’s laced with aquamarine blue
And some cyan,
Plenty of cyan.
Here and there it’s dappled
With touches of brown
Got some ochre dashes
With splashes of green in the grass found.
An aquarelle I hue
With some carmine,
Nice lines!
I love hue,
I love blue,
Love ecru,
Love to do many now--
Some en plein air:
It’s landscapes for me!
I’ll paint a cow
And sheep fleeced.
What’s that I smell? It’s poo,
On shoes!. . .bovine.
