| Parody Song Title: | "Emo Bedwetter" |
| Parody Written by: | MrMacphisto |
This song is a parody of emo culture. Basically, it's written from the perspective of an emo vocalist.
Shook up
Full of just me
Hair askew and hollowly
Quoting stars
Darkening up my eyes
A bus driver could have wrote this for a whim
But better
Writing sloppy for the girls
Making noise and wearing curls
Uncouth, preaching overdone and overbearing
It's really lame
I'm singing like a bad teenage film star
Crash cars, scary rashes in suicide scars
Thinking I'm a real badass
Whatever that is...
Deep thinking
But don't get it
I wrap my hand in plastic and try to go to it
Vaseline thighs and boy-as-girl moves
Can take you far
This star thing,
I don't mind it
(a goth hag sings "I'll make you over... there" in the background)
My sentiment is quite clear
I'm strugglin' with my peers
I dress queer
Have you thought of dating me?
Think you'll like the misery?
Will you write me something that nobody sane will sing?
Missing link
So high on bud
Pity me like Elmer Fudd
Self-promotion is so tragic, Only... offbeat
My lyrics stink
So much like Nsync
Though my friends can't see the light
The doom and gloom
I need a shrink
I don't wanna disappoint you
I drink beer and do joints too
I think Jimmy Eat World has really wicked grooves
I wear my own frown
Of madness that's borrowed
And clothes I'll buy tomorrow
Will look so strange
Lip gloss
Put it on again
("I'll make you over... there")
My sentiment is quite clear
I'm strugglin' with my peers
I dress queer
Then get cheers
Shook up
Full of just me
Hair askew and hollowly
Quoting stars
Darkening up my eyes
It's so hard to fake a cry
Sucking like Air Supply, Hanson, and Lavigne
Wearing upturned goofy collars
I can sing of sorrow and of death
Then sweat the same things tomorrow
This smell thing
I got it
("I'll make you over... there")
My sentiment is quite clear
I'm strugglin' with my peers
And through the gloom, I dress queer
My mumblin' then gets cheers
I dress queer
Then get cheers
Wear this sneer
Then chug beer
[the hag starts moaning the following]
Wear that sneer
Taste that beer
Dress so queer
[more moaning until the song fades out]
Full of just me
Hair askew and hollowly
Quoting stars
Darkening up my eyes

Great title, wicked satire--I'm not at all familiar with the song, but the whole thing was great.
funny one
Thanks, guys... :)
I think Elmo can tinkle better than these guys/girls your talking about. 5's
Sure picked an obscure REM song to parody, mac...but this was the ol' 1-2 of a great title and well written parody. 555
Thanks, Lionel and Kristof... :) I'll be doing a slightly less obscure R.E.M. song next: Bittersweet Me.
Wasn't too familiar with emo's before reading this parody...but, you've painted some interesting word pictures for me..555
Very nice LOL! HAHAHA! Hilarous, and now to get the original to sing along :)
Thanks, AFW. Emo is pretty lame, but it's really popular on the radio right now. Fall Out Boy is a good example of its patheticness. Look for a song on the net called "I must be Emo." It also details the lameness of this phenomenon. Thanks also to Charnstar :)
Biting and funny, MrMac ! 555
Thanks, Rick :)
