Parody Song Title:

"Where the streets are unpaved"

Parody Written by:

Phil Nelson

I hardly ever drive on unpaved roads, but it's a pain when I have to..........
I'm on the road
Don't want to drive
'Cause I'm on an unpaved road
That has no signs
I'm bouncin' around
Yeah, it's a pain
Where the streets are unpaved

I hate feelin' the bumps in the road
Why couldn't they just pave it, those stupid toads
Drove into a pothole, the road's insane
Where the streets are unpaved

Where the streets are unpaved
Where the streets are unpaved
They never build
Pavement on the street, pavement on street
And when I go there
Try to speed on through
It's all I can do

Hope it never floods
Wouldn't see what's to come
My car would just fly in the air,
This just is no fun
I'll leave from this place
To where the road is tame
Not where the streets are unpaved

Where the streets are unpaved
Where the streets are unpaved
They never build
Pavement on the street, pavement on street
And when I go there
Try to speed on through
It's all I can do

Drivin' in the dust
All over the road, blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Really annoys me
Can't control the car, see
Goes off the road, blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, when I go there
Try to speed on through
It's all I can do

This is one of my favorite songs, and you did a good job parodying it. However, there were a few brief moments where the pacing was off. Overall, I gave it a 5 though...

I'm guessing this won't play well in South Carolina.

I always thought this song was waiting for a parody about asking for directions...imagining there was an actual city with unnamed streets, and a blank map..

I agree the pacing was a bit off, but overall I enjoyed it anyway, Phil!
