The Lyrics

The Carlsbad Lancer Dancers will sing in the 2005 Nationalswith Brett it will use this intro for the 2005 padres home games.
Hate the locker room
It will be rigged
And all the players dressed like jerseys
Let's leave lockers to the field
That town's a little too rugged
let's get this party started

Rollin' down the Parking lot
With a dumb fan at my side
air conditioners blowin' hot from the north
And we was born to ride

Roll down the field, put down the top
Crank up the game, baby
Don't let the music stop
We're gonna start it till we just can't start it no more

From the Beavers to the BayBears
From Lake Elsinore to the Padres
Everybody's very happy
'Cause the sun is shining all the time
Looks like another perfect day

I love Padres (I love it)
I love Padres (We love it)

Look at Jake Peavy
Look at Phil Neavy
Look at that manager over there, man
He's eating the seeds
Look at these Fans
There ain't nothin' like em nowhere

Brian Giles (We love it)
Sean Burroughs (We love it)
Miguel Ojeda (We love it)
Ramon Vazquez (We love it, we love it)

I love L.A.
I love L.A.
(We love it)

Jay - Not bad, but why does it close with "I Love L.A.." ? That seems off-point here since you're talking about the Padres (San Diego, right?).

That's what I thought, too. My guess is that he made a mistake; he was probably thinking too much about the original.
