Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Where I live (Minnesota) there is a large Tibetan community. And, for obvious reasons, they REALLY don't like China. What with the recent concerns about Chinese-made products, it seemed like a good time to write a parody about the "people's" "republic" of China (note the quotation marks) ...
We borrowed so much money, now we owe them a “trill”
We act like they’re our friends, but they’re still friends with Kim Jong-Il.
They refuse to recognize Taiwan’s right to exist
And toys with lead-containing paint weren’t on our Christmas list

And they fear us, and we fear them
They’ve got nukes and guns
And they fear us, and we fear them
China, China, China always is to blame

They’re spewing out pollution by the billions of pounds
When they built Three Gorges they destroyed a thousand towns
And now it’s a crime to fly the flag of Tibet
The Dalai Lama never hurt a fly, but now they want him dead

And they mock us, and we mock them
They call us “McWorld”
And they mock us, and we mock them
China, China, China always is to blame

Try to find out where your food comes from, there’s no way to know
A third of all our apple juice comes from orchards that they grow
They don’t have free speech; blocked Wikipedia today
And Mao was worse than Hitler, but they still think he was great

And they hate us, and we hate them
Still we buy their stuff
And they hate us, and we hate them
China, China, China always is to blame

China is to blame

China always is to blame
Just for the record, this is solely intended for the Chinese GOVERNMENT; I have nothing against the PEOPLE of China, North Korea, or any other country. Also, if you are wondering about my screen name, it came from an Abbott-and-Costello-style greeting card that lampooned President Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and Hu Jintao. "Hu is the president of China?" "Hu!"
