The Lyrics

I am a big fan of the video game and tv show "Defiance", so many of my latest parodies are dealing with that topic which is probably unfamiliar to the older gen here who don't watch that program. I've already explained the plot many times. This parody deals with Joshua Nolan and his Irathient adopted daughter Irisa who become Lawkeepers for Defiance by request of Mayor Amanda Rosewater. They travel in rollers and carry advanced firearms. Irisa likes to strike with knives and martial arts. They keep the 7 alien races as well as the human population under control.
Defiance- always a fight
Races at it day-and-night
There‘s no curfew, making order much harder
Testing and baiting
Oh, they’re challengin’ Nolan to come back for some more

Fair law-keeping is his thing
Irisa, his back-up, knife-wielding
The Votans are wild, but Nolan’s the one that carries the Star
Peace is what matters
Daytak Tarr acts so tough, but can only go so far

(Oh-oh, here they come) Nolan and his brat back-up
(Oh-oh, here they come) They are Lawkeepers
(Oh-oh, here they come) Nolan and his brat back-up
(Oh-oh, here they come) They are Lawkeepers

They know just what to do
Keep their weapons in plain view
The Irath is shunned, but her Earth father still acts the part
For law and order
Oh, they sometimes are scared but fight the villains from the Arks

(Oh-oh, here they come) Nolan and his brat back-up
(Oh-oh, here they come) They are Lawkeepers
(Oh-oh, here they come) Nolan and his brat back-up
(Oh-oh, here they come) They are Lawkeepers

Ooh,
(Oh-oh, here they come) Here they come, Nolan and his brat back-up
(Whoa-oh, here they come. Rolled up) They are Lawkeepers
(Oh-oh, here they come. They are Lawkeepers) Nolan and his brat back-up
(Oh-oh, here they come) Here they come, they are Lawkeepers
(Oh-oh, here they come. Def Cops) Always put up a good fight,
(Oh-oh, here they come) Here they come, they are Lawkeepers
(Oh-oh, here they come. They are Lawkeepers) The Votans are wild, fierce
(Oh-oh, here they come) Here they come. Nolan and girl, Nolan and girl
(Oh-oh, here they come) Yeah, rolled up, Def Cops, “HANDS UP!“, cuffs out
(Oh-oh, here they come) Yeah, yeah, They are Lawkeepers
(Oh-oh, here they come. They are Lawkeepers) Perps testing and baiting,
(Oh-oh, here they come) Always seen: They are Lawkeepers

Thanks Jon, Xfinity On-Demand still has Eps 101-106 plus additional material on the game and tv show. It's like "Firefly" but with equal emphasis on multiple alien race interactions as well as interpersonal relationships. Like "BSG" the sci-fi element is always present but the human drama is what counts. A great new show and finally somethign decent from SyFy Channel ;-)
