Take a tomahawk chop to Turner Field, and you've got the team of the 90's.
A southern night slowly closes in and I feel so lonely
Pitching heat freezing on my skin, and a big win is still holding
I'm throwing crazy, no losing sleep
Can throw one far, Hit in high & deep over you
It's going up & gone
Used to be first, but now we're last
(chorus)
Wherever I go, Atlanta is with me
Anything I want, Atlanta's where I be
Atlanta is where someone to lay a bunt and pitch upon
Remember all of the 90's on rain delay
I am with the Braves
I am with the Braves
Watching homeruns go over the wall ain't so fright'ning
I wanna touch 1st base or get called out thanks to my turbo lightning
The fans stand up for being apart
Can chant out with a tomahawk chop over you
I'll always be the one
Used to win first, but now we're last
(chorus)
I'm throwing crazy, no losing sleep
Can throw one far, hit high & deep over you
It's going up & gone
Used to be first, but now we're last
(chorus)

It was okay, except pacing was off in a few places.
The Braves didn't finish first in every 90s year. In 1990 they finished with the worst record, 65-97; and in 1994 they finished behind the Expos (but that's only because of the strike that obliterated the rest of the season AND the postseason). But from 1991-93 and 1995-99 they did finish first and most sports fans know that. Also, the first four years of the 2000s they finished in first.
If you think the Braves were the Team of the 90s, you might be a redneck. If you think all those Division Titles means anything, you might be a redneck. If you think Greg Maddux was a better pitcher than Roger Clemens, you might be a redneck. If you think Chipper Jones has ever been better than Derek Jeter, you might be a redneck. If you were only willing to forgive Jane Fonda while she was doing the Tomahawk Chop, you might be a redneck. If you didn't like Jimmy Carter except when he was doing the Chop, you might be a redneck. And if you think John Rocker was "misunderstood," you ARE a freakin' redneck. But if you like this parody... you still might be a redneck, but you'd be a very perceptive one.
