The Lyrics

About how I feel around eclipses, even far worse than I usually feel around full moons. Definitely felt this recently
Head spins round, every now and then my eyes get little bit buzzy
And they start to twitch around
Head spins round, every now and then it pounds and then I get tired
Of head having a mind of its own
Head spins round, every now and then I get a little unconscious
And I feel the pounding around my eye
Head spins round, if you look at me then you will get really horrified
As I rid sleep feeling from my eyes
Turning ‘round my eyes, my head feels like it’s gonna fall apart
Turning ‘round my eyes, head feels like it’s been hit by a dart

And I need some sleep tonight
And I need it more than ever
Because the moon with all its might
Could make my brain and head sever
Oh can my head just get through the night
Will I and the moon pull together
Can I make it 'til the end of the night
My head is giving everyone around me a fright (round me a fright)
I don’t know what to do when it’s starting to get dark
Full moons always affect me but now my head sparks
I need some aspirin tonight
But it won’t be much help tonight
But it won’t be much help tonight

Once upon a time I was feeling just fine
Right now I feel just like a loon
But there’s nothing I can do
When total eclipse of the moon
Once the light fades so does my head tonight
And now I’m acting like a buffoon
Nothing I can say
But total eclipse of the moon

Spinning ‘round my eyes, my brain feels it’s having a huge fart
Spinning ‘round my eyes, feels like it’s been hit by a go kart

And I need sleep pills tonight (And I need them now)
And I need them more than ever
Because head muscles are so tight (They feel so tight)
I need something to feel better
But in a few days I might feel all right (right now my head feels wrong)
My head feels wrong like it could sever
Put my head on couch to get through pounding
Oh why does this happen to me what a cruel thing (what a cruel thing)
It doesn't usually happen when it gets dark
Full moons affect me, eclipses make my head spark
I need some valium tonight
I just wanna sleep through the night
I just wanna sleep through the night

Once upon a time my head felt fine at night
Right now I can’t tell knives from spoons
And there’s nothing I can do
When total eclipse of the moon
I feel my head more than usual tonight
It feels like a popping balloon
Oh what can I say
It’s total eclipse of the moon
Just total eclipse of the moon
That total eclipse of the moon
Turning ‘round my eyes

so I take it that CCR song "Bad Moon Rising" can be quite literal for you not bad but I noticed you skipped the second verse before the first time the chorus hits unless of course you were parodying a "shortened" version or something... 344

I was going by the lyrics posted on metrolyrics, I guess they were going by the radio edit. I didn't realize that on the album it was longer. thanks
