The Lyrics

Just submitted a parody called "Condi" and remembered this one from the 2000 "election."

I hear pundit-babble static on my radio
And I'm kind of in the dark
I'm stuck down here in Austin, Texas
And she's out there in Menlo Park

Condoleeza, the race gets tighter
My vote count's sinkin' down
And I'm all strung out on homonyms
When I speak I sound like a clown

Well I'm sitting here, playing solitaire
With my dimpled-ballot deck
The counties won't give me no more pregnant votes
I can't write more campaign checks

Well I launched spell-check on my Compaq
But to use it's tougher than heck
Down on Pennsylvania Avenue
They expect you to talk correct
