The Lyrics

I used to trade through the night on my software
with the stars up above in my eyes
but pretty soon it turned into a nightmare
a credit mountain constructed with lies

So I learned how to pump em and dump em
I had web sites and chatrooms to spare
but it started collapsing around me
It was a rollercoaster ride to despair

But it's hardly surprising
that I thought that my dreams had come true
when the markets were rising
and I was there at the front of the queue

if I could make one more hot deal tonight my love
can I just make one more hot deal tonight my love

All this time I've been under surveillance
You just conned me and messed up my head
I should have guessed when I first saw the handcuffs
that you keep in that box by your bed
you said "give me best execution
and I'll give you my orders to fill
we can try for a mutual solution
use my laptop - if you don't - I will"

you bugged all the phones in my condo
so I'm busted - what can I say?
I don't think you'll be needing those handcuffs
Any chance of a drink - by the way?
You must let me call my attorney
How could you do this - its really unfair
you seduced me - don't laugh - it's not funny
you're just a cheap agent provocateur"

repeat chorus

Martha - This was good work. Has a "personal experience" ring to it, although I hope not. Maybe a different title would have drawn more attention to this originally because it's certainly worth a look. You can keep what you want t(or need) to call it but just add a secondary title in parentheses that either gives a further hint or perhaps might tickle someone's curiousity. Just a thought, anyway.
