Original Performer:

The Mamas and the Papas

Parody Song Title:

"Cauliflower's Steamin'"

Parody Written by:

Royce Miller

Since I started writing on Amiright, it's been a source of happiness to me--and friends I've never met; today something sad happened and I came to write a parody hoping it would make me happy like in times past.
All the leaves are gone
They were thrown away
Clumps are in the pot
Water boils away
They should be real tender
Do you wanna taste?

Cauliflower's steamin
Little clumps of grey

Put some in a bowl
And topped it off with cheese
They look like little tops
Little tops of trees
Cheese sauce is Velveeta
Golden as you please

Cauliflower's steamin
Little fluffy trees

All the leaves are gone
They were thrown away
The rest is in a pot
Water boils away
They are soft and warm
Do you wanna taste?

Cauliflower's steamin
Just little clumps of grey
Cauliflower's steamin
Just little clumps of grey.....

mmm... sounds tasty. I suppose if you'd started with an old cauliflower, you might have said "All the leaves are brown"... Sorry to hear something sad has happened, I hope a look at today's parody crop will put a smile back on your face.

Yeah, getting all fours and fives on a parody always cheers ME up ;-)... nice work; better than mine, even. Not that mine was all that great anyway...
