The Lyrics

Well, when you are hungry, you have gotta go and leave your baby fridge at home alone. You gotta get the fridge some friends like the ham, cheese, eggs, oranges and the beer. Enjoy it and please do comment it.
When you're hungry
Tummy growls
When your beer is all dry
You will search for more
I'm low on food
I'm going out
To shop for some good food
When a fridge with a hungry owner
You have to go out
Like a fridge with a hungry owner
You have to go out

When you're down First Street
Then you take a left
The grocery store is there
With all food supplies
I'll take some meat
And veggies too
Can't go wrong with six packs
Like a fridge with a hungry owner
You have to go out
Like a fridge with a hungry owner
You have to go out

Go back fridge owner
Go back home
And keep the food in there
And make a sandwich
Bread and then ham
Then lettuce too
Add cheese and cover it
Close the fridge like a hungry owner
And take your beer out
Close the fridge like a hungry owner
Til you eat again

The bridge/fridge combo is an irresistable one, isn't it? :-D

Tasty take-off.

A Five-pack. Funny and well-done, but if you seriously want a comment about getting even better, there's a golden opportunity for increased matching:

"When your beer is all dry"..... a little tweak:
"When tears are in your eyes" (OS)
"When beers have all gone dry" (for example)

You pick up an extra easy match between "tears" and "beers", and it also accents more naturally in the same pattern as the OS (accent on "beers", like "tears", instead of accent on "your"). Play with that concept a little and your stuff becomes top rank. You're off to a good start, and those three guys above are some of the top writers here.

Norman, very enjoyble :(

T-Turtle : "and those three *guys* above are some of the top writers here"...? "Now don't be sad, 'cos two out of three ain't bad"... ;-)

Thanks everyone. Tommy, I am not trying to match with the original song. With Viacom shutting down everything, I am afraid they might sue me for rhyming with TOS. It's a joke. But, thanks for the criticism and comments everyone.

Have to admit, I'm with Tommy, here: it's good, but with a little shuffling around could sound a load better. And I also agree with Merry, in that the "Fridge" sub is hard to resist - I did mine more years ago than I care to remember ;-) This might make you smile: www.amiright.com/parody/70s/simonandgarfunkel5.shtml
