The Lyrics

Hate going Christmas shopping? The crowds, the traffic, the lines, etc. You could shop on eBay but be careful, you might end up with more than you bargained for.

Wood chair, rocking, ends at four
I gotta bid a fifty or more
If I lose again, gonna be real sore
Well there was twenty last night in Vermont
But in the morning they all were gone
I'm talking brand new...

eBay®, checking it out
eBay®, when I lose I pout
eBay®, make a bid it's cool
I'm saving money...

Sniped a bid last second, won
I stole it from Bidder One
And it's a nice baby grand
For a concert band
But you know that they won't ship it to me
Have to drive to East Tennessee
Play? Don't know how to...

eBay®, now why'd I buy that?
eBay®, I can't take it back
eBay®, bought a monkey too
Cost lots of money...
Whoa!

eBay®!
eBay®!
eBay®!

Found a nice tea caddy set
And a used spare part for a 'vette
Seventeen years old
But mine's an eighty-four
I'm in debt right up to my neck
It's making me a financial wreck
I'm gonna get sued...

eBay®, bought some patent shoes
eBay®, I can't wear size two
eBay®, and they were half price, new
Where's all my money...

eBay®, buying a shark
eBay®, piece of Noah's Ark
eBay®, need to buy a new shelf
I need some money...

eBay®, a talking sea trout
eBay®, I can't live without
eBay®, would be so cool
But don't have money...

eBay®, some rare film clips
eBay®, but they never shipped
eBay®, they were lost, got ripped
My money, my money.....

Great job, blackjack. I use my Ebay account chiefly to buy records and 8-track tapes, but this parody details the foolishness possible with the world's most famous online auctionhouse, beaucoup money in the MasterCard or Visa coffers and megadoses of bravado and idiocy. 5s.

Nice job on EBay. I've only bought once and seldom used it but can understand the comments from your parody well. Lots of junk there.

What would we do without the off-the-wall humor of BJ21? :) LOL @ the purchase of the piece of Noah's Ark... ("It was a bargain!")
