Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Loved her in beaches.. ahh Bette... one of the last true entertainers. The chick can sing and dance AND act.
Bette Bette Bette
I almost always remember your role in Beaches
that movie told me that you were going to soon
and Bette.. I saw your beauty and your grace
and heard you croon
Bette Bette

"for the boys" entertaining a sergeant major
how come I thought that you were not beautiful yet..
and Bette I saw it later, as a lady,
you'd be the best
Bette Bette

I may just want Bette to entertain me
I may just want Bette sing so lovely
I may just watch later..

Bette with that red flowing hair, and your lovely face there
please come on back and make movies until
you must die
and Bette I thought that later
you'd say maybe
That's what we get

Bette Bette

Bette Midler is one of the most talented actresses in a long time! I liked her in Beaches and Hocus Pocus. I also like her songs: Wind Beneath My Wings, From A Distance (which we sang at the school pageant a long time ago), and The Rose (which I can also play piano and guitar). Great write and tribute, Malcolm! 555.
